Mount Buller

Cuma sewa kasut getah. harganya cuma AUS 10.00. Ingat nak sewa peralatan ski tapi takut sampai kat atas tak tahu nak guna. Sewa lain kali. InsyaAllah.
Tiket pintu masuk ke kawasan peraginan Mt. Buller.
How big? This big! ( sambil melebarkan tanganya).

Berapa AUD agaknya seluruh package? Ada website tak?

Terima kasih banyak banyak!

Hi.. :)

2 kaki tebal :)

Cadangan saya, pastikan, salji betul2 meliputi mt. buller sebelum pergi.

Can't wait to go!

Harlo Amir,

Ok, tentu boleh. I use English ok?

We scouted high and low for a full package, which were all pretty expensive. Even in Matta fair, Melbourne alone cost 4k+ close to 5k. If the tour package includes Sydney, then surely... 5-6k.

We are so blessed to be able to grab the promotional tickets from Air asia. Return ticket per head + tax is only RM1024.

Then, we signed up for a ground tour. Found one by Golden Tour World, cost RM2138 for 6D4N. We extend two more nights - RM380 more per person.

So total estimate per head is about:
RM1024+ 2138 + 380 = 3542

Counted roughly: If include shopping and other misc cost, maybe will cost a little more, 4k maybe.

Places we will be visiting include:
Melbourne City, VIctoria Market, Phillip Island, Ashcome Maze, Queenscliff Ferry to Sorrento, The great ocean road, Sovereign Hill Balarat, Mt Buller (our own expense, not included in tour)

It also covers 4 Breakfast, 4 Lunch, 4 DInner.

I think it's pretty cheap for the deal :)

hi.. :)

yaa.. I think it’s pretty cheap too. The places that you will cover are the most favourite touring spot in Victoria. I'm sure, you will get unforgettable experience of a lifetime!

It's an ideal time to visit Phillip Island on Jun, It's the beginning of winter. and penguins are rehearsing their parade. I missed this opportunity when I was there!

for Victoria market, you need a day for window shopping and the other day for shopping! hu.. hu.. Otherwise you might clueless, confusing what you want to buy! Bring extra money too!

Near the sovereign Hill Ballarat, there is an open zoo. Ballarat wildlife if I'm not mistake! This is the place where you can touch kangaroo and koala! Maybe, emu and wombat! Wish I can bring my family there someday!

May I know your name? :) and wish you and your family a save journey!

I just realized, you can always know the situation on the top of Mt. Buller by clicking the title at the top of this entry. I have linked it with the Mt buller website! sorry. I forgot about it!

or you may surf http://www.mtbuller.com.au/winter/default.aspx

currently, the temp is 9.3C and 0cm snow! :)

Waaa... did you study there or what? You seems to know every corner of Melbourne? :D

Thanks for all the information. Too glad that we will be able to see Aussie animals without having to make a separate trip to the melbourne zoo. That will save us some $$!

Oh, the buller site. I'm haunting it 24/7, lol. Thx again.

Sure. Actually i'm not malay, but a chinese from Kelantan :) I'm Bonnie. Nice to meet u.

Hi Bonnie :)

The good think studying in Australia is a 'field trip'!. We had a field trip for every week! normally on Tuesday or Wednesday, and all sponsored by Australian Armed Forces. :)

Not just us, every time I went for field trip, I can see alot of school children doing their field trip too. I think that is the diffrent between Malaysian and Asutralian education system. Students learn with fun!

If you like to know more about Ballarat Wildlife Park, you can surf the link below;

http://amirazmi.blogspot.com/2006/03/field-trip-2-ballarat.html

for your info, it's a private zoo! but the best in Victoria :) Nice to meet you too.

Hello Amir,

Thanks for the info :)

I have a question though, since we are going in June, will those animals constantly slumber in 'non-active' mode since it's winter?

What's ur take of visiting Ballarat wild life park during that time? Or will there be no difference from other seasons of the year?

Amir Azmi said...

Hello Boonie :)

Hmmm... I not sure about that! Normally, most animals hibernate in winter.

but in Autralia, the wheater is quite wierdo! there is a favorite says, "In Australia, there is 4 seasons in one day". The wheater can change in any time in a day. It is important to update yourself with wheather forecast where ever you go.

And you will see, most of OZ walk with their backpack containing 'pullover'. Always ready a sudden cool weather! :)

someone told me that the wierd wheater in Australia cause by the desert at the center of Autralia and the south pole!
