Photojounalism Talk

It was a great pleasure to see a great Malaysian photojournalist given his talk. He is Zainal Abdul Halim, the professional photographer works with Reuters. The talk was conducted by Northern FMDC at Naza Hotel, Penang on last Saturday. Congratulation to the organizer whose provided us with comfortable class room. And thanks to Abang Zainal who gave us an inspiring talk about photojounalism. The best of all was when he told me about his experiences at Afghanistan and met my idol photojournalist, James Nechwey. Now, I got a bright pictures of photojournalism in my head.

CO Parade

This is a special ceremony to welcome our new Commanding Officer. The parade involved all the citizens of KD PELANDOK. Just a simple snapshots, the ability to move around was limited! I was wearing No. 1. :(

Apperantice

It is a compulsory for all DTM (Diploma in Marine Technology) students to pass the fundamental subjects before they can proceed to their core subjects. Unfortunely, the core subjects is easier than fundamental subjects. Most of the core subjects base on practical. It's mean that the students are able to get a better score without pain thinking something 'logic'. Mathematic is a one of the fundamental subjects as well as the toughest subject of all subjects in DTM. This is my Mathematic III class. In Mathematic III, students will learn base on Trigonometry. This is not a friendly subject, but they have to love it!. It takes 14 weeks (another 3 weeks to go!) to complete. Although I have to face a lot of hardship, I am enjoy teaching them.

Eid Mubarak 08

For me, the children are the best subject to describe the happiness of Hari Raya. Never feel fear only smile and laughter. I brought my D80 every way I went on last hari raya and took 700++ photos related to happiness. Alhamdulillah, I'm satisfy with what I got and I learnt a lot about 'great' moments. On Board

The opportunity to sail with MV Fajar Samudera (Royal Malaysian Navy training ship) gave me a quality time to sharpen my eyes and skill in photography. This time, I explored the power of wide lens. Although I only have a kit lens (means that the widest my baby can go is 18 mm), I experienced taking a pictures in wide perspective. I feel like photos that came out from wide lens give me more words. A lot of things to say every time I look at them. Enjoy some of my photos that I took on board.
